We recently stayed at The Inn At Whitewing Farm for a weekend getaway. The property is absolutely fabulous, with 20 acres of beautiful grounds to explore. We loved the spring-fed pond, tennis court, gazebo, and pool. The attention to detail in the English Garden room was outstanding, making us feel right at home. The room and bath were immaculate, and we appreciated the variety of books available on the shelves. The breakfast room was also a great perk, with drinks and snacks available at any time. The innkeepers were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be returning soon!

Welcoming hosts, lovely historic farm

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming inn and it was a delightful experience. The hosts, Lance and Sandy, were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. Despite booking the smallest and least expensive room, it was still spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size and impeccably clean. The breakfast served in the beautifully renovated barn was absolutely delicious, and there were always snacks and beverages available throughout the day. The inn's pool area and tennis courts were great for some leisurely activities, and the grounds were picturesque and ideal for a refreshing stroll. The location was perfect, tucked away on a quiet side street just off Route 52 and only a short drive from Longwood Gardens. I highly recommend this inn for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was so generous and accommodating, especially since I was on crutches. They upgraded me to a suite on the ground level and even offered to give me a ride in a golf cart to the pool. The beds were incredibly soft, and the warm cookies and milk bedtime snack was a delightful touch. The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to Longwood Gardens and only a 10-minute drive from The Brandywine River Museum. The hotel had beautiful grounds to explore and the daily gourmet breakfast was a treat.
