Our stay exceeded expectations! The beautifully decorated office and lounge area made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and had a true walk-in shower, which was a nice touch. The pool was inviting and clean, with brisk and refreshing water. We also loved the southwestern architecture and construction throughout the site. this place really exceeded our expectations!

The only downside was the plain breakfast. It would have been nice to have a wider variety of options to choose from.

We had a great time during our city trip! The location of the hotel was perfect, close to all the main attractions and within walking distance of the college and sports fields. The rooms were small but clean and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor pool, even though it was a bit cold in March, and the fire pit where we could have a nice bonfire and make s'mores.

There were a couple of things that we didn't like. the water pressure in the shower was very low and the temperature was lukewarm at best.

I had a fantastic time at Maverick Inn. The property was clean and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the courtyard area where I could sit by the campfire and stargaze. The hotel's dog-friendly policy was a big plus. Despite the train passing by, it added to the charm of the city. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

An Oasis of Rest

The staff was great and allowed us to check in early after a tiring camping trip. The room was cozy and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower handles were a bit tricky to adjust, but it was a minor inconvenience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the southwest-inspired decor, comfortable rooms, and exclusive outside sitting space. The secluded pool area was a perfect spot for a quiet evening and the pet-friendly policy made us feel welcome. The owner, Rebecca, was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel like part of the family. The location on the main street was convenient and the Wi-fi worked perfectly. The continental breakfast was a great start to our day.

I stayed at The Maverick for a week while visiting Sul Ross University. The staff was friendly and always helpful. They quickly fixed a TV issue and even had ear plugs on the pillow, although I didn't need them because the noise from the nearby train line wasn't disruptive. Michelle was understanding when I had to cut my stay short due to illness and promptly refunded me for the remaining days. The hotel has a charming old West theme, with nicely decorated rooms. The garden tub was a delightful and relaxing feature, and the room temperature was perfect. The location was great for visiting the McDonald Observatory and enjoying the unobstructed night sky. The toiletries smelled wonderful and they even gave me a free mug. good value for the price.
