We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with a list of nearby restaurants open for dining. The location of the hotel in the heart of downtown was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the old town area. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautifully decorated rooms that had a nod to the colonial past while providing modern comforts. The comfort of the bed, high thread count sheets, and amenities like a TV with a wide range of cable channels and complimentary snacks made our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the property itself was immaculate and well-maintained. I loved the modern yet historic vibe of the hotel, and the commons room on the main floor was a great spot to relax with a Kurig coffee, snacks, and filtered water with the option of still or sparkling. Checking out was a breeze, and our room was beautiful, with heated bathroom floors and a cozy gas fireplace.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Great location in the heart of a historic city, close to attractions and dining. the hotel's decor was charming and had a cozy atmosphere. the room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks available 24/7 in the pantry.

The noise from the busy street outside made it difficult to sleep at night, and the rumbling of the subway passing underneath the hotel was disruptive. the lack of staff presence during our stay was concerning, as there was no one available to address our concerns or provide any cleaning services.

What a treasure of a place! I stayed at this hotel in Salem for a couple of nights and it was amazing. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, so I could easily walk to all the attractions, shopping, and dining. This hotel was perfectly situated in a busy area, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. The rooms were beautifully decorated and equipped with fireplaces, while the heated bathroom floors were an added luxury. The level of service was outstanding and the staff was attentive to our every need. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and snacks. Moreover, the gluten-free options were much appreciated.

On some nights, the hotel area can get a bit noisy due to nearby bars and restaurants, which may disturb light sleepers.
