Located in a convenient spot for exploring a nearby national park and had reasonable rates. the staff was polite and accommodating. the rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and good TV channels. the bathroom appeared to be newly renovated. the pool was clean and enjoyable. the breakfast was served early, which was great for an early start. Plenty of food options available, including toasters, bagels, toast, yogurt, granola.

The continental breakfast lacked fruit and the orange juice machine seemed to be watered down. Some guests complained about noise from neighbors and the hot temperature in the rooms and hallways.

My recent stay at the Monarch Inn was delightful. The location, right on Main Street, was perfect for exploring the area. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed, including a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The A/C worked great and I had a restful night's sleep on the comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a closet and bathroom hooks, I was overall satisfied with my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, although not extravagant, provided a decent start to the day. I would definitely consider staying at the Monarch Inn again. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a very disappointing stay at the Monarch Inn. The motel was under renovation and should not have been accepting guests. Upon arrival, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come to reception. The place was a mess and felt completely unsecured. On the second day of my stay, when I returned from Yosemite, my door keys didn't work and I couldn't get in. There was no one at reception and it took 45 minutes to finally get someone to help. The lack of security and the unresponsiveness of the staff made me feel very unsafe. Eventually, a staff member apologized for the delay but only after being called away to another property they owned. The only positive aspect was that they adjusted my room rate as compensation. However, this was one of the worst experiences in my 30 years of traveling in the USA.

The staff at this hotel was friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. The rooms offered all the basic amenities we needed, including a closed bathroom, which was a nice touch.
