This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is perfect for both daytime activities and nightlife. It's just minutes away from popular attractions like the Strong Museum and the planetarium and science center. Plus, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and packed with plenty of things to do. The rooms are well-appointed with all the basic amenities you could ask for, including a microwave, sink, coffee maker, and small fridge. And let me tell you, the bathroom is amazing! It's divided into three areas, with a rain shower, a separate tub with a hand-held shower, and a sink area that is nice and spacious. On top of all that, the staff provides exceptional service, from check-in to check-out, and Alisa, our waitress at breakfast, was highly recommended. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at this hotel!

I recently stayed at The Strathallan and had a wonderful experience. The staff were absolutely excellent, going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The hotel was very clean and I particularly enjoyed having a bar and restaurant on-site, even though I only had drinks there. The parking and access were easy, and the shower had great hot water. The rooms were spacious and had nice heating and cooling. While the décor seemed a bit worn in some areas, everything was sparkling clean. The hip and free vibe, along with the hot coffee in the lobby, added to the overall positive experience.

Would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a great getaway spot! The staff here are fantastic, from the kind front desk manager who remembers guests by name, to the attentive waitstaff who served delicious meals. The room was cozy and clean with beautiful views and thoughtful amenities like two balconies and a glasses-in shower. Plus, the complimentary shuttle makes getting around the historic area and downtown bordering the hotel super easy. And the warm cookies at check-in are a nice touch!

The hotel room did not meet my expectations. the mattress was old and sagging, making it uncomfortable to sleep on.

During my recent stay at The Strathallan, I had a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and museums. The neighborhood felt safe and vibrant.

Despite a few minor issues mentioned by other guests, such as a noisy event and smoke smell in some rooms, I did not personally encounter any of these problems during my stay.

The homemade granola at breakfast was delicious. The grilled salmon from room service was fresh and tasty. The airport shuttle service was great. Clean and comfortable hotel. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

As women travelling alone, we felt completely at ease at this hotel. The valet parking made our arrival hassle-free, and the restaurant served delicious breakfast and dinner options. The room was comfortable and had easy-to-use temperature controls. We loved the outdoor fire pits and the friendly staff, especially Hattie, Char, and the elderly elevator guy. The sushi chefs were great, and we enjoyed sitting on the first floor patio for after-dinner drinks. The hotel's recent renovation was evident, and we would definitely stay here again.

We felt incredibly welcomed during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were grateful for the Assistant Manager, Helen, who helped us extend our stay.
