The room was clean and tidy, but dealing with the staff was a real letdown. Heaps of attitude and not very helpful, eh? Chur for the comfy bed, though!

However, upon check-in, I had to change elevator banks to reach my room, which wasn't ideal. The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired with limited options and a lack of communication about the made-to-order omelets—took me three days to discover that gem! Also, thin walls meant I got to enjoy some unexpected late-night conversations from neighbors. The WiFi setup was a hassle, requiring daily log-ins that felt unnecessary.

It was just a suitable option for a transient visit in New Orleans with good value for price. The staff was really accommodating and adjusted their services to keep us comfortable during our stay. Consider arriving with a flexible mindset, as things can change quickly.

Check out this view of the Mississippi River, wicked nice! The staff were super friendly, especially Kaylee and Sam at the front desk. Found the room comfy but could use a lil' touch-up. The breakfast at Bistro was decent, but the prices, yikes! Make sure ya got a parking plan, though. No complaints about the fitness center—solid equipment for a good workout.

Stunning river view surprise!

Waking up each morning to the breathtaking sight of the Mississippi River was simply magical. The staff were super friendly, and our room was clean and spacious. The location is perfect, being a stone's throw away from the French Quarter yet away from the hustle and bustle. I loved the breakfast options too—they had something for everyone, making it a delightful start to each day.

we loved our stay at the westin! we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a river view room that felt spacious and luxurious. the breakfast had a great selection, and the live egg counter was impressive. plus, the fitness studio had some nice equipment for a good workout.

while everything was mostly great, i wish the parking instructions were clearer to avoid confusion.

The hotel is situated conveniently for exploring New Orleans and offers impressive views of the Mississippi River. While the lobby vibe felt upbeat and the staff were friendly, I did experience a few hiccups, such as needing to prompt for housekeeping and some minor maintenance issues with the bathroom fixtures.

Sadly, my room did show some wear—like, who invited the stains? And for the price, I expected more than just a view and a little flair!

Mixed Feelings About My Stay

While the stay had its challenges, I did enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant on-site. The breakfast was quite delicious, but the check-in experience was frustrating, and parking was a nightmare. I suggest planning ahead for parking and being patient at check-in.

This place suits me perfectly with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and a bar area. On my first stay, the staff helped me choose a better taxi. I highly recommend enjoying the breakfast. I’m coming back for New Year!
