I had a fantastic stay at Tru By Hilton! The breakfast was outstanding, especially the egg frijitas, and the giant waffles were a hit with everyone. Gabe, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful and made our stay so much better!

However, the lack of microwaves in the rooms was disappointing, and the pool looked dirty, which made it unusable. Additionally, we had to switch rooms due to cleanliness issues, which was a hassle.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety that our whole family enjoyed. The noise from kids in the lobby was quite disruptive, especially late at night.

The staff was incredibly friendly, even checked on us a couple of times! The breakfast was out of this world—those giant waffles? I mean, WOW! ! And the egg frijitas were just something else, my wife and I couldn’t get enough!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but after the service and comfort, I guess it was still worth it.

the check-in was a complete disaster, taking almost two hours as the front desk seemed to be on vacation. the pool looked dirty and no one seemed to care. i was expecting a complimentary stay for all the hassle, and yet, it was just a regular experience. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The check-in process was intolerably slow, taking nearly two hours!!! Addressing the noise from guests should be a priority instead of relying on complaints!!! The small pool looked neglected and uninviting!!!

During my recent stay at Tru By Hilton Sandusky, Oh, I found the hotel to be new, clean, and budget-friendly. The room was well-equipped with functional storage and a desk. The interior decor was delightful. The breakfast was impressive, featuring hot items that changed daily, and the staff members were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

The air conditioning could have been better.

Enjoyed a delightful stay with exceptional attention to detail in decor and recreational areas. The breakfast was satisfying with a variety of hot and cold options, and the pool offered a comfortable swimming experience. Plus, the room was clean and equipped with everything we needed for relaxation. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

free breakfast had some tasty options but overall very basic selections. The lounge furniture needs steamed cleaing.

Enjoying the clean indoor pool, I appreciated the ample seating both indoors and outdoors for relaxation. However, the air conditioning in the room was less effective than expected, and noise from other guests in the lobby was noticeable at times.
