Lovely old house with a great garden. the setting was beautiful and it had a nice sitting room and porch for relaxing. the location was perfect, situated between the beach and canals.

The service at reception and during breakfast was amateurish. the staff, who seemed like college girls, were not very knowledgeable or efficient.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, as it was right across from Venice Beach and super close to the boardwalk. We loved being able to easily access the beach and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The staff was also excellent, providing great service throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel facilities were top-notch, with cozy and nicely decorated rooms, as well as a beautiful garden. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the breakfast offered a delicious selection of gluten-free options. this hotel was the perfect choice for our trip.

Arriving exhausted from a long flight, the Venice Beach House was a delightful haven. the beautiful historic house and surrounding garden provided a picturesque backdrop to our stay. Our room overlooking the garden was charming, and the shared bathroom with its unique art deco tiling and two cast-iron clawfoot baths was like stepping into the past. the morning walks along the canals, with their white wooden bridges and flower-filled gardens, were enchanting. And the sunset walk along the pier, with locals fishing and enjoying the fresh air, was truly spectacular. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious.

loved the king suite with balcony and ocean view - felt like a dream. the breakfast nook with window seats and overstuffed pillows was pure perfection. location was ideal, within walking distance to muscle beach, restaurants, shopping, and Santa Monica pier. highly recommend Meat on Ocean for an amazing dining experience! staff was top notch and even surprised us with treats for my daughter's birthday. this place is a dream!

It was so convenient, being right in the center of things and just a short walk away from the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with modern touches and fluffy towels. The breakfast provided a charming touch and the gardens were beautiful.
