Excellent location, just a 2-minute walk to the beach and zoo, with plenty of stores nearby. Easy access to both Waikiki Beach and downtown. Not directly in downtown, so it's convenient to find cheaper local restaurants and stores. Free parking available on the side streets near the hostel. Upgrade to a private room for our group of 3. Friendly staff who made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Snorkeling/beach gear available for rental. Vending machine prices were cheaper than local convenience stores.

The staff were awesome and always helpful! Great location in downtown Waikiki, just a few minutes walk to Waikiki Beach. The common area was really nice with a variety of seating. All areas were secure with fab keys for entrance. The international community made for a nice, respectful atmosphere.

I recently stayed at the Waikiki Beachside Hostel for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, just a quick 3-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great advice on bus transportation and local attractions like Diamond Head Crater and Hanauma Bay. The hostel provided a decent breakfast with toasts, butter, strawberry jams, peanut butter, and hot coffee. The shared rooms even had a fridge, which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the quiet time starting at 10pm. a great experience.

I stayed in a coed room with 8 people and we had bunk beds. The room was clean and had plenty of storage space, including a fridge and microwave. The location was perfect, close to bars, restaurants, and most importantly, the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, especially Ari, Danny, Wayne, Ashley. They provided daily breakfast and the hostel had a nice kitchen. It was easy to meet new people and make friends. great value for money and a fantastic experience!

The hostel offers air-conditioning in some rooms, along with kitchen facilities and a fridge. The bunk beds were actually comfortable, and the in-room lockers were a good size. The staff went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay. I highly recommend Waikiki Beachside as the best hostel to stay at in Waikiki.

We were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a private one, which was comfortable and clean. The staff, especially Danny, was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They provided free snorkeling gear, had washers and dryers available, and the lounge area was open and friendly. The free breakfast, although basic, was a nice touch.
