I had a fantastic stay at Aj'S Lodge And Oven in the beautiful town of Bergland. The location was breathtaking, right on the shores of Lake Gogebic. The cabin-style accommodation provided a comfortable retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owners were friendly and always working hard to maintain the property. I enjoyed swimming in the lake, using the kayaks and paddle boards, and even hired a boat for a day of cruising. The nearby Porcupine Mountains and other attractions were easily accessible, making it a great base for exploring the area. The bar/restaurant with its wrap-around deck offered a lovely place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. I highly recommend this lodge for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Our room had a beautiful lake view and reminded us of cozy cabins up north. the location was great, with easy access to the Porcupine Mountains and other attractions. the staff offered an upgrade to a room with a kitchenette, showing their willingness to accommodate guests' needs. We enjoyed the friendly greeters, two labs that loved attention.

The room was a little tight and we had to move the microwave to open the door. We could hear some traffic noise, although it wasn't too much of a disturbance.

The location of this lakeside lodge is stunning and the rooms have comfortable beds. The owners are accommodating and there is a new restaurant and bar with a great view. Upgrading to an apartment with a kitchen was a smart choice. The lake view from the apartment was beautiful.

The location offered a picturesque experience of the pristine Northern beauty. The friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere with their accommodating service. There was a new restaurant and bar with a large porch overlooking the lake, offering delicious food options.

The staff was friendly, the new log siding on the buildings was attractive, and the restaurant had a clean and nice pine interior. The location on Gogebic lake was beautiful, with a great view. The owners were awesome and even upgraded us to a room with a dining area and kitchen. The bar/restaurant had a lovely wrap-around deck, and we enjoyed spending time there chatting with locals and other travelers. The town of Bergland was conveniently located nearby.

I recently stayed at a lodge near Porcupine Mtn and it was a fantastic experience! The location was perfect, close to the park and restaurants, and they even offered free water activities for guests, including allowing dogs. Although I didn't have time to enjoy the water fun, I definitely plan on going back to take advantage of it next time. The hospitality was superb and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. We got great value for our money at this motor inn-style lodge. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. The owner was friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. The location on the south shore of Michigan's Upper Peninsula was absolutely stunning.

The hotel breakfast could have been better, particularly the burnt food.

We were pleasantly surprised by the lodge's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Jim, the person who checked us in, was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for scenic places to visit. The room was well-maintained and the heater worked perfectly, keeping us warm throughout the night. We were also excited to learn that they are building a restaurant/bar on the property and MaryBeth, who assisted us during check-out, took our email address to keep us updated on its opening. We look forward to visiting again in the future!
