My stay at this grand mansion was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a breathtakingly grand entrance that set the tone for the entire experience. The hotel facilities were outstanding, with a luxurious sunroom porch where I enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and stunning views of the city. The cleanliness of the King Grand Mansion Suite was impeccable, and the spaciousness and comfort of the room made me feel like royalty. The staff were incredibly professional and provided exceptional service. Breakfast in the morning was a delight, and the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure my anniversary celebration was memorable.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at a beautiful mansion in Charleston. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The friendly bellman greeted us and the desk clerk personally showed us to our room. Our jaws dropped when we entered our room - it was absolutely stunning. The spacious bed, cozy seating area, and luxurious bathroom exceeded our expectations. The room was impeccably clean and the daily room service made it even more comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, with creamy grits and delicious bacon. We also loved the afternoon hors d'oeuvres and the great wine selection. The views from the 4th floor were breathtaking. The neighborhood was quiet and the location was not far from downtown. The Southern hospitality at this mansion truly surpassed any other place we've stayed at. I highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with incredible hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday stay unforgettable, especially Bryan, who made sure everything was perfect. The rooms were stunning, with elegant and historic furnishings that made me feel like I was staying in a European chateau. The bathrooms were equipped with all the amenities, including a whirlpool bathtub and a large stall shower. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a quiet area but still within a short walking distance of the city's vintage attractions, art museum, and dining venues. The complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres served every evening, as well as the delicious breakfast at Circa 1855, added extra charm to my stay.

Couldn't stay longer.

I stayed at this hotel during Christmas and I must say, the holiday decorations were absolutely stunning. the hotel was beautifully adorned with lights, wreaths, and a giant Christmas tree in the lobby. It really added to the festive atmosphere and made our stay feel extra special. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. They had a wide variety of options including fresh pastries, eggs, bacon, and fruit. It was the perfect start to our mornings. Moreover, the hotel was conveniently located near all the major attractions. We were able to easily walk to the shops, restaurants, and historic sites in the area.

Our room lacked proper soundproofing. We could hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, giving off a European Chateau vibe. The bathrooms were luxurious, complete with a whirlpool bathtub and a spacious stall shower. The hotel's attention to detail was impeccable, from the complementary wine and hors d'oeuvres served on the sun porch to the availability of brandy, sherry, and port at all times. The staff was outstanding, immediately taking care of any need or request. The location in this beautiful historic establishment allowed for a truly unique and memorable experience.

For us, it was ideal.

The luxurious amenities provided at this hotel were exceptional. the room was spacious and had exclusive advantages like a comfortable bed and a relaxing Jacuzzi. the food at the restaurant was delicious and the bar/lounge area was excellent. the breakfast selection was perfect, and the garden area was beautifully designed and perfect to relax in.

The hotel failed to provide proper service in a situation where we needed assistance. We couldn't access some private facilities which were a bit frustrating but not a big issue.
