The atmosphere is cozy, rustic but not too country, loved that. We tried the brunch de jour and the Bloody Mary was spicy and excellent. I will say, the brunch menu is something else--a pancake sandwich thing with bacon and an egg was a dance of weird and delicious. I wasn't sure about it at first but I kept going back for more!

But I reckon the room could've used a bit more space for lounging, maybe just one chair too few.

The room I stayed in felt dated, and I expected more from the breakfast. it was quite minimal with no protein options. The door code issue upon arrival was a bit annoying.

During my stay, I encountered several disappointments. the check-in process was mismanaged with a 3 pm check-in, which felt excessive. The room itself had a broken sliding door lock, and the only thing preventing unauthorized entry was a wooden bar. Additionally, the complimentary snacks offered were minimal, hardly enough for a family of three, and there were no coffee-making facilities in the room, meaning I had to leave the property just to find a cup of coffee. Despite the charming exterior, the beds were uncomfortable, making sleep impossible due to feeling every spring.

I enjoyed my stay at this charming place. I loved sitting on the upper deck with my partner, sipping coffee and appreciating the view. The room had good amenities, including air conditioning and free WiFi. The location offered a nice escape to nearby hiking trails, making it easy to explore the outdoors. Breakfast could be improved with more protein options. My experience was positive, even with the room pricing being higher than expected. I traveled here in 2024-10-01.

We enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful hiking trails nearby. The location was perfect for our family trip, and spending evenings with friends on the balcony in the rocking chairs was a lovely touch that we all appreciated.

My wife says that more comfortable beds would greatly improve our stay.
