We had a truly magical stay at this hotel, located on the "quiet side" of California. The hotel's unique mountain setting provided a stunning view of the lake from our room. The family suite we stayed in was comfortable for five people, with cozy beds and a sofa bed. The staff, especially Patty, were friendly and understanding, even allowing us to use the front desk telephone for urgent calls. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for us as it was only a short drive to the Yosemite Tioga entrance and the Mono Basin Birding Chataqua. We also enjoyed the convenience of a nature trail just a few yards away from the hotel, as well as the great burgers at the restaurant across the road and the interesting items at the tourist information center.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, from the bathroom to the room itself. The hotel facilities were also great, with a spacious room and comfortable beds. The parking provided was convenient and ensured a safe place for my car. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with Mono Lake and Yosemite just a short distance away. The view from our room of Mono Lake was absolutely breathtaking and added to the overall experience.

We stayed at Yosemite Gateway Motel as a stopover during our road trip and it was the perfect location for exploring Yosemite National Park. The views of the lake at Lee Vining were stunning, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. We loved the family-run Epic Cafe nearby for delicious and homemade food, especially their amazing pies!

The view of Mono Lake from our room was breathtaking, and the sunrise was amazing. The location of the motel was perfect for our visit to Yosemite National Park, with easy access to the park and other attractions. We also enjoyed the convenience of having everything we needed within walking distance, including a great restaurant nearby.

The exterior of the property could use some improvement, as it looked a little run-down. Our room had a few issues, such as a stuffy temperature and a closet door that was off its track.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location near amazing hiking spots and the stunning fall colors. The nearby breakfast nook and market made it easy to fuel up before our adventures. The motel had friendly staff and clean rooms with balcony views of Mono Lake. a funky and enjoyable place to stay.

I had the most amazing view of Mono Lake from my room at this motel! The sight was absolutely stunning, and I couldn't get enough of it. The room was clean, well-equipped, and provided all the comforts I needed for a pleasant stay. The free WiFi worked great, which was a bonus since I had no cell phone service in the area. The front desk staff, specifically Patty, was incredibly friendly and understanding when I needed to make urgent calls using the front desk telephone. the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever passing through.

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel was easy to find and had a quaint charm. It was conveniently located close to South Tufa Mono Lake, which allowed me to easily explore the area. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a coffee maker, hairdryer, and even a mini fridge and microwave in the double room. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Additionally, the view from the rooms was amazing, offering a picturesque outlook. The hotel's location was also great, being very near to the park entrance and in close proximity to many restaurants in the city.

The location was perfect for visiting Mono Lake and entering Yosemite through the Tioga Road. The hotel had amazing views of Mono Lake, which I could enjoy from my room and the small terrace nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the comfortable beds and excellent shower made my stay even better. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating and the breakfast at the nearby restaurant was great. I also appreciated the convenience of the stores nearby.
