We had a great stay in the heart of the old town, just outside the ancient city wall. The location was perfect, being near the West Gate allowed us to easily explore the main attractions. Our room had a stunning view of the sunsets, and the staff were always charming and friendly.

The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired.

As young people, we loved the unique experience of staying in a beautifully restored madrassa with a balcony view of the old city. The rooms had an authentic old feel and we got to see inside the rooms of a real madrassa, which was a rare opportunity along the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. The staff at the hotel were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay.
