The hotel is great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. Its central location in the heart of Hobart makes it convenient for exploring all the main tourist attractions within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities including the shared bathroom are perfectly fine. They even provide some Tasmanian soap, adding a nice touch to the rooms.

Quirky CBD bar doubles as reception. Spacious, cute & comfy rooms with efficient heating. Relaxed, friendly vibe with hot water & eco-friendly soap. Great location for bus drop off. Will definitely return.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The unbeatable location, right in the centre of everything, made it easy to explore the Elizabeth Street restaurant district. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The shared bathrooms were cute and very clean. The hotel had a great vibe and chic decor that made it feel like a boutique stay.

The noise from the surrounding area was occasionally disruptive, but that is to be expected in such a central location.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway at this hotel! the staff were absolutely fantastic - always warm and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary filtered water and the selection of teas in the lounge area. Plus, its location in the heart of the city made it easy for us to explore all the attractions in the area. One thing we loved about this hotel was the cozy and inviting lounge area with relaxing music.

The room we stayed in was a bit too soft for our liking. the shared bathrooms on our floor were not always well-kept which made it a bit uncomfortable to use.

Our room was sweet, cosy, clean, and calming. The amenities were great, with built-in storage and floating bedside tables. The shared bathrooms were very clean with amazing showers. The location is central and close to cafes and public transport. I definitely recommend staying here for a quirky, artsy stay with the comfort of an apartment or Airbnb.

Stayed at Alabama Hotel for a night in the centre of everything. Friendly staff provided cups for hot water. Clean, old bathroom. Abundant supplies, including drinking water and soap. Shared bathrooms felt like staying at a mate's place. Superb staff, quirky atmosphere, and a welcoming bar and lounge area. Perfect location, right in the heart of the CBD. Would have stayed longer if not for the booked-out weekend.
