we had a fantastic stay at balboa. the large space with an oversized verandah was perfect for our group. the amazing pool was a nice touch, and being a short walk to the beach and shops made it even better. the clean, functional kitchen made meal prep a breeze. the view from the balcony in unit 5 was breathtaking, and the cool breeze from the beach kept us comfortable throughout our stay. overall, a truly enjoyable experience.

Our family stayed at Balboa for a week, and it was perfect! the spacious 3-bedroom apartment had a full kitchen, large balcony, and was steps away from the beach. the friendly owners provided a secure parking spot, beach accessories, and even a pram. the pool and BBQ area were great for relaxing. Walking distance to shops and the marina made it convenient.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Located steps away from a pristine, patrolled beach, and a short stroll to vibrant shops and restaurants. Spacious apartments with multiple bedrooms, wrapped in a large balcony, perfect for families. Access to a warm pool, BBQ area, and sand toys creates a cozy home-like atmosphere for gathering.

Difficult to locate outside rubbish disposal area, improvement needed in providing clear directions.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The hotel offered a range of services, including car hire, grocery shopping service, and airport shuttle, making our stay even more comfortable. The room amenities were excellent, with ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. We loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful view. The swimming pool was also amazing, with sun loungers and a shallow end, perfect for relaxation. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

This hotel is a gem in a quieter area of Port Douglas, just a 2-minute walk from the beautiful beach. the spacious apartment with a full kitchen, large balcony, and comfy bedrooms make it feel like a home away from home. the pool, outdoor dining area, and sun loungers offer a perfect spot for relaxation. the secure undercover parking is convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The central air conditioning, which made it a bit tricky to adjust the temperature in each room, especially at night. It would have been great to have individual controls for each room for a more comfortable stay.

Spacious open lounge, kitchen, and dining area. No TV in bedrooms encourages family time. Good privacy and large outdoor BBQ area. Lovely sound of crashing waves at night. The database was user, friendly and had a wide range of helpful features. I particularly enjoyed the second, level room with walk, in robe, which was spacious and kept spotlessly clean.

The only minor downside was that the Wi, Fi connection in the room was a bit slow at times.

Our apartment was huge, with plenty of space for our family. the kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals. We loved being surrounded by beautiful palm trees and lush vegetation.

Although the apartment was spacious, the balcony was quite small. the pool area was crowded at times and there were not enough loungers available.

I have stayed at Balboa Apartments multiple times over the years, and it truly feels like my own personal beachside residence. Apartment 7 is my favorite, perfect for my family and our active boys who love the pool. The apartment is spacious, with three bedrooms and a ground floor with easy access to both the pool and the beach. The kitchen with its granite benchtop is great for food preparation, and the comfortable rooms and lovely bathrooms make for a truly enjoyable stay. The apartments are equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the location, just a street away from 4 mile beach, is absolutely awesome. The pool is the perfect size for our boys, and it's conveniently located in the middle of everything. What makes our stay even more special are the amazing hosts, Lynette and Andrew, who make us feel like family. With its unbeatable value for money, comfort, location, and great hosts, there's no need to look any further in Port Douglas. I highly recommend Balboa Apartments for a beachside holiday rental.
