The kids absolutely loved the massive outdoor playground, and the indoor entertainment area with games and movies kept them busy for hours. the spacious family room was cozy, and the hot breakfast buffet was a hit with everyone.

My wife says that having a kids' menu at the hotel restaurant would have made meal times easier for families.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Maitland! the staff was incredibly friendly and polite, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. the location was perfect, situated conveniently between Hunter Valley and Newcastle. the room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a lovely king-size bed and a luxurious spa bath. the blackout curtains ensured a peaceful night's sleep, and the shower had excellent water pressure. the proximity to a great pub for evening meals was a bonus, and the surrounding area had various dining options and shops nearby. a wonderful experience!

While my stay at this hotel was mostly enjoyable, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. the room's temperature was a bit challenging to regulate, as it tended to get quite warm in the afternoon sun, requiring the air-conditioning to work harder to cool it down.

Hunter Gateway Motel in Maitland was a clean and comfortable stay. the spacious room and friendly staff made us feel welcome. the convenient location near good dining options and a short drive to Maitland's town centre worked well for us. the outdoor seating area was lovely for relaxation, although we didn't use the pool, and the surrounding landmarks like Walka Water Works added to our family bonding experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy hotel. the rooms were impeccably clean and recently refurbished, offering a comfortable and inviting retreat. the convenience of parking right in front of our room was ideal, especially for those with mobility challenges. Being situated close to a family-friendly pub with delicious meals at great prices was a definite highlight. the helpful and friendly staff enhanced our overall experience.

The motel is in a convenient location, with easy access to the wineries just down the road. It is also right next door to a pub with good food, making it a great choice for dining. The room itself is clean and spacious, allowing guests to move freely without feeling crowded.

One downside is that the coffee/tea condiments were out of date, and the kettle had an unpleasant smell.

Stayed at a motel over Xmas. Got a couple of complementary perks, which were great - saved $$$. the motel was located next to the town center and train station, which made exploring the area very easy. the best aspect of the motel was that the room had a refrigerator and microwave which made keeping and heating our food handy.

Found bits of hair on the towels and in the sink. the carpet had not been vacuumed and there were dirty marks all over it.
