We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short 10-minute walk from the Cathedral square in the old city center. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and a luxurious bathtub. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of options including fresh fruit, meat, cheese, eggs, and delicious cakes. The hotel had great facilities, including parking and easy access to the charming town center.

We did find that some of the amenities were lacking. There was a kettle in the room, but no coffee or black tea provided.

I had the most enjoyable stay at a beautiful hotel in Viseu. The architecture of the building, which used to be a converted former hospital, was magnificent. My room on the fourth floor offered a stunning view over the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping me explore the city and its charming narrow streets. The breakfast at the hotel was up to the usual high standard of the Pestana brand. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm and excellent service.
