We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and freshness of the room at Country Gardens Motel. The furniture and bedding were immaculate and the room had a very clean and fresh smell. We appreciated the convenient setup with the handbasin close to the kettle, microwave, and fridge. The room quickly warmed up once we turned on the aircon and we were grateful for the electric blankets on the bed. The Black Cockatoo restaurant on-site offered a delicious meal that we highly recommend. The free breakfast of fruit, fruit juice, cereal, and milk was a nice touch. We also appreciated the lack of audible road noise during the night.

The hot water ran out very quickly during our showers, limiting the ability for three of us to shower. The toilet area was also a bit dirty around the doors and there was no living space in the two-bed apartment.

The on-site restaurant was the best aspect of the weekend, but it can't cover up the terrible experience we had. The comfy beds and fluffy towels were a nice touch, but couldn't make up for the worn carpet, tatty doors and the feeling of uncleanliness. The motel's location was convenient for walking around the town centre.

There were little pieces of plastic all over the bathroom floor and window sill, and we could hear mice in the walls and ceiling during the night. The so-called "Breakfast Included" was a farce and an insult to the guests - consisting of cheap and low quality cereal, juice and fruit, and served in a plastic container.

The motel was conveniently located near the centre of town, making it easy to access everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft towels in the bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast provided was a nice touch, consisting of cereal, fruit, and juice. Additionally, the motel had great parking facilities.

The noise from adjoining rooms and the plumbing system was quite disruptive at times.

The hotel's location near the town center and on the highway is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area or grab a late-night snack at the nearby Shell petrol station. The spacious rooms with comfortable beds provide a cozy retreat after a long day of driving. Additionally, the attention to detail was evident in the high-quality toiletry amenities provided, making the stay feel luxurious.
