We stayed in a cosy, well-equipped 3 bed Cottage next to the hotel with a great view. Good parking, easy walking distance to a quaint town. Dog-friendly with a private garden.

Stayed at a lovely traditional hotel, room 10 was cosy with beams & a bay window. Bathroom had ample hot water & toiletry shelf. Delicious dinner and excellent, friendly staff. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was beautifully served.

I stayed at The Castle Hotel for business and was pleasantly surprised. The room was stunning, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was the best I've had in ages. The evening meal, especially the beef and red wine pie, was excellent. The hotel was dog-friendly, which I appreciated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bishops Castle is a charming town with beautiful countryside nearby. I would definitely return in the future.

We had a great time during our stay at this charming hotel. the comfortable rooms had beautiful views of the town and countryside, giving us a lovely backdrop for our relaxation. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with suggestions for walks and places to visit. the breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed delicious meals in the bar. the hotel's location at the top of the town made it easy to find, and the on-site parking was convenient for us.

The number of stairs in the hotel. As it is located in an old building, there was no lift available, and those staying at the top of the hotel may find the stairs to be a bit challenging.

Unpleasant smell of dog urine in the corridors and rooms. the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable and of poor quality.

The warm and cozy room, friendly staff, and central location were all highlights. Despite the lack of a bath, the room was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. The hotel's old building added to the charm, with creaky floorboards that created a unique atmosphere. The surrounding countryside was stunning, and the hotel provided helpful maps and walk guides. I particularly enjoyed the reserved table for dinner and the delicious breakfast served in the bar. I will definitely return!

I recently stayed at the Castle in Bishop's Castle for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location at the top end of the main street offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The bar, restaurant, and beer gardens were all pleasant and beautifully landscaped. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious cooked options. As vegans, we were thrilled with the dinner and vegan breakfast options available. The whole place had a fresh and inviting feel compared to our previous visit 8 years ago.

The Database Room was tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and quiet. The staff were excellent, efficient, and pleasant. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was good. Free parking was available. The hotel has retained its character and is centrally located. The garden, though we couldn't enjoy it due to the weather, was delightful. There is a lovely path from the garden to the bowling green.
