Our family had a fantastic time at Mungo, surrounded by breathtaking nature and enjoying the tranquility. the kids loved spotting wildlife and exploring the nearby Mungo National Park.

The friendly staff and cozy accommodations made it a memorable family getaway. Cons: My wife says that more children's activities could enhance the family experience.

Traveling with family, we stayed at this cozy place for three nights. the safari vibe, friendly staff, child-friendly activities, and closeness to wildlife trails made our stay memorable. Shared cooking areas added a nice camping touch, and the guided tours were exceptional.

Though some minor issues like room cleanliness and service, I found Mungo Lodge's cabins spacious and comfortable. the onsite restaurant impressed with fantastic meals, and the accessible location near Mungo NP was ideal for exploring. A great option for a cozy Outback retreat despite small hiccups.

Our stay at Mungo was an incredible remote wilderness experience. The location was excellent, surrounded by red dusty roads and a beautiful historic place to explore. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with a nice balcony to enjoy the surroundings. The sunset tour of Lake Mungo and morning tour of old homesteads/woolsheds were both incredible experiences. Despite the rough and unsealed road, Mungo National Park was the best outback experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable stay in the wilderness.

The hotel offers great bar selection, beautiful open fire at night, and a deck for enjoying sunrise/set. the staff were mostly great and the location is magnificent near the national park.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious and affordable meals. Easy drive to Mungo National Park. Wildlife and animals nearby, peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

Located right on the edge of the National Park, Mungo Lodge offers a unique experience of staying in the outback. The cabins are new, fresh-looking, and comfortable, with all the required amenities. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the onsite emus and bird life add to the outback ambiance. The family cabin with a kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, making it convenient for families. The lodge also offers great meals, especially the home-made sticky date pudding with caramel sauce.

We recently had a romantic escape at a lodge on the outskirts of Mungo National Park. We loved that the lodge was located right by the walking trails, allowing us to explore the desert with ease. the sunset tour was an absolute highlight and not to be missed. the accommodation was also surprisingly luxurious, with high-quality facilities and a cozy verandah where we enjoyed watching the stars over dinner.

We did have a few minor complaints. Despite the impressive food quality at the restaurant, the service was a bit lackluster.

The on-site restaurant offered a delicious dining experience, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to relax and unwind. The outdoor dining area was a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful scenery. the service and quality of this hotel exceeded my expectations.
