Staying at this hotel was an extraordinary experience. the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing a breakfast tray filled with delicious goodies. They were generous with tips about the area, making our stay even better! the location, amidst the forest with abundant wildlife, allowed us to interact closely with nature. We loved being able to feed birds and small wallabies right from our patio. the atmosphere was peaceful and serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

One minor improvement could be the lighting in the cabin. It was a bit dark with no lights on, but too harsh when all the lights were on.

My stay at Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages in Yungaburra was a magical escape! Surrounded by lush rainforest, the cozy cottage was a delightful retreat. Although a bit pricey, the abundance of wildlife and proximity to charming Yungaburra made it worth every penny. Can't wait to return!

One improvement could be clearer instructions about the unsealed track leading to the cottages.

Feeding the birds and other animals was a delightful experience. The breakfast platter was perfect and we appreciated the flexibility of cooking our own meals. The nearby lake was within walking distance, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. The owners were kind, friendly, and always available when needed.

Our stay at the rainforest cottages was absolutely exceptional! The highlight was being able to feed the birds and animals from our balcony using the pellets and mealworms provided. The variety of bird species that visited us throughout the day was amazing, and we even spotted pademelons. The hosts, John and Jenny, were incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and provided us with helpful information. The breakfast hamper was delicious and lasted us for multiple mornings. The bubble baths were also a luxurious touch. The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this hotel for nature lovers and anyone looking for a luxurious rainforest getaway.

The cottages were equipped with everything we needed, including food for the local wildlife. the location was great, with easy access to nearby restaurants and supermarkets. We also appreciated the complimentary firewood for the chilly evenings.

the bed and bedding were comfortable, but we would have appreciated a split mattress to accommodate restless partners.

the garden area and outdoor dining space offered a serene atmosphere for breakfast. the location was advantageous as we could easily travel to Lake Eacham and the nearby attractions. the staff provided excellent service, always eager to help with anything we needed.

We experienced minor trouble with the room locks, which got sorted out quickly by the efficient staff.
