During our romantic escape at this period hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely large rooms and old world decor. the spacious and clean room provided a comfortable stay, and the large, comfortable bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, allowing us to park our car on the premises even though we arrived early in the morning. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the town and enjoy the nearby river.

One drawback of our stay was the noticeable noise from the nearby train line. Although the trains did not run overnight, it was a bit disruptive during the day.

Despite being a bit close to the rail line, the staff made an effort to allocate us a room as far away as possible, minimizing any potential noise disturbance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely period decor that added to the old-world charm of the hotel. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide selection of delicious options to choose from.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The room was huge and had a wow factor when we walked in. The king-size four poster bed was not only magnificent but also the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and the value for money was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel!

The stay during Easter was a nice surprise. the breakfast provided was fantastic and they also gave complementary chocolates and a bottle of wine. the location was very convenient, being close to shops and restaurants. the surroundings were peaceful and green, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.

The cleanliness of the room definitely needs improving. There was visible dust on the furniture and the carpet smelt musty.

We had a fantastic stay at a Victorian character hotel in Rockhampton. the size of the room exceeded our expectations, it was spacious and well-appointed with furniture that matched the period of the grand old building. the four-poster bed was incredibly comfortable, and the huge wet room with a lovely shower was a highlight. the off-street parking was convenient, and Dylan, our host, was friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed a fabulous continental breakfast. our experience at Denison Boutique Hotel was pleasant and enjoyable.
