We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect, right by the sea, and the public beach was lovely. We appreciated the helpful staff, who explained what was available and where we could go. The hospitality extended to us was amazing, and they quickly accommodated our special request for an elevated sleeping arrangement due to a medical condition. The leisure swimming pool and sun terrace were fantastic, as was the outdoor swimming pool. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of amenities, including a dining table and soundproofing.

Recommend this place to all; we had no complaints whatsoever.

We had a great time at the resort's private beach, and it was a treat to watch penguins at the Bicheno Penguin Show. Despite some room maintenance issues, we found the accommodations clean and comfortable for a relaxing stay. I would recommend this resort for a beachside getaway.

During my Christmas stay, there were a couple of complementary perks available like the bright white torch use in the Penguin tour and the huge grass area for children to play. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and having a leisurely stroll out to the island during low tide was nice. There was also a restaurant on site and it was convenient as there weren't many other options available in the area.

The Penguins were terrified as we were taken too close to them and also a bright white torch was used, hence it was disturbing for the Penguins. The restaurant had poor service, with one server during a busy time, and it affected the experience for the guests.

Beachfront location with easy access. Grounds are perfect for outdoor activities, from sports to playground for kids. Beautiful beach, great for sandcastles, rock climbing and swimming. Enjoyed the penguin show and pool. Helpful staff and good WiFi.

The location of the hotel was great and close to the main township, with the beach nearby and a little island to explore. The staff was helpful and took guests to a viewing platform at night to see the little penguins. The restaurant was also decent, and even when closed, they opened it when a tourist bus arrived.

The hotel facilities and rooms were in a terrible state, with broken appliances and dirty rooms.
