Nice old building, great fireplaces, friendly to dogs, friendly staff, grandeur of the old Inn.

Beautiful historic building with spacious rooms and lovely gardens. Self-guided tour available. Great facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen. Generous breakfast pack provided. Friendly and accommodating staff.

I had a fantastic stay at Fitzroy Inn Historic Retreat. The building is beautifully restored and maintained, giving it a charming and historic atmosphere. The room I stayed in was huge and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the front garden. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The lounge rooms with comfortable couches and fireplaces were perfect for relaxing. The gardens were also lovely to walk around, adding to the overall experience. Despite it being cold outside, the heating in the room kept us warm at all times.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The attention to detail was spot on, from the cozy fireplaces to the beautiful garden views. The rooms are spacious with a huge bathroom, and the balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and the continental breakfast provided a good start to the day.

All was absolutely fine, no complaints whatsoever.

We spent our Christmas holidays at a historic inn and had a lovely time. The grounds were stunning with beautiful gardens and well-kept amenities. We especially enjoyed the pool table and outdoor seating areas. The location was perfect, close to the town and amazing restaurants. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made sure we had everything we needed.

Although our stay was enjoyable, we did have some concerns. The breakfast options were limited, and we found it disappointing that we weren't offered any fresh juices or fruits.
