Comfortable and Pet-Friendly Stay

I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and beautifully decorated room with a private entry for my pet. the accommodation was pet-friendly, and the late check-out request was promptly accommodated. However, the proximity to the railway line with noisy trains passing by at night was a bit disruptive.

Great value for the money, cozy room, beautiful location, and friendly staff at the retreat.

The breakfast menu could use more variety.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. the cozy rooms were beautifully decorated with lovely antiques, adding a touch of history and charm to our stay. the lush gardens surrounding the property were a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Southern Highlands. the in-room breakfast was a nice touch, and the bar/lounge area was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the area.

It would have been nice to see more staff around to assist with any queries or provide recommendations for activities in the area.

I adored the beautifully decorated common areas with their elegant Victorian charm, perfect for relaxing and socializing. the wide hallways and comfortable seating made it easy for us seniors to move around and take a rest whenever needed. the historic tour of the house was a delightful experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the rich heritage of the place.

One improvement desired: more assistance for seniors with luggage, as navigating stairs without a lift was a struggle.

The database provided a wide range of amenities, from tea and coffee making equipment to a comfy and spacious room on the ground floor. the room was well-presented and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

It was a minor inconvenience that disrupted an otherwise peaceful experience at the property.

I had a fantastic stay at Fitzroy Inn Historic Retreat. The building is beautifully restored and maintained, giving it a charming and historic atmosphere. The room I stayed in was huge and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the front garden. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The lounge rooms with comfortable couches and fireplaces were perfect for relaxing. The gardens were also lovely to walk around, adding to the overall experience. Despite it being cold outside, the heating in the room kept us warm at all times.

We spent our Christmas holidays at a historic inn and had a lovely time. the grounds were stunning with beautiful gardens and well-kept amenities. We especially enjoyed the pool table and outdoor seating areas. the location was perfect, close to the town and amazing restaurants. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made sure we had everything we needed.

Although our stay was enjoyable, we did have some concerns. the breakfast options were limited, and we found it disappointing that we weren't offered any fresh juices or fruits.
