I had an amazing stay at this retreat. The main house and individual guest homes were well equipped and of high quality. The tranquil and picturesque location, just a short drive from the township, was perfect. Sitting outside my accommodation, enjoying breakfast while listening to nature, was truly relaxing. Angus, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly, always providing great recommendations for places to visit. The hospitality was outstanding.

We stayed at the Gilgara Retreat Villa and had an amazing experience. Gavin, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. the location of the villa was perfect, and the property itself was spotlessly clean. the common areas were cozy and had a great selection of books to choose from. We also loved the modern design of the villa, it looked even better in person than in the photos. Lizzie, our contact at the retreat, was very helpful and even arranged for wine and cheese on our arrival. They also assisted us in organizing the postage of an item we accidentally left behind. a fantastic stay!

We stayed in the Gilgara Retreat Villa and it was absolutely lovely. the privacy and atmosphere were perfect for a romantic weekend getaway with my partner. the room itself was beautiful and provided us with a relaxing space to unwind. the location of the retreat was also great, being only a short drive from the city center and wineries. Despite its proximity to these attractions, the retreat felt like a secluded oasis, allowing us to enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding nature. One highlight was the spa bath, which was absolutely awesome.
