the hosts were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, always ready to share insights on the best spots to visit. the breakfasts served overlooking the rainforest were simply delightful, with a variety of tropical fruits and pastries to enjoy. the location on a ridge amidst the trees provided stunning views of the Daintree Valley, making our mornings truly magical. the hosts and their adorable dogs really made us feel at home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was unmatched in our previous stays.

The place felt like a dream—beautiful room with a stunning four-poster bed, surrounded by lush rainforest and an amazing view from the patio. the pool area was so chill, and we enjoyed soaking up the sun and watching the butterflies flutter around. the only tiny thing missing was having a bar, would have been nice for a cold drink by the pool, but overall, it didn't bother us much. 🌺.

The room at Mai Tai Resort was absolutely stunning. the outdoor shower was a special treat, and the comfortable bed made me feel right at home. the view from the resort was breathtaking, and the tropical gardens added to the magical experience.

An Unexpected Gem!!

We had the most amazing stay at Mai Tai Resort in Cassowary. We booked last minute and had no plans, but Andre was incredibly helpful in planning our weekend activities. The highlight was the scenic railway trip from Kuranda and the snorkeling excursion on the Great Barrier Reef. The room was beautifully decorated and the breakfasts on the balcony were so relaxing. Andre and Anthony were fantastic hosts, with their furry family members adding to the charm of the place. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Mai Tai to anyone wanting a unique experience.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location, nestled in the mountains, was absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by lush forests and with a quiet hilltop near Mossman Gorge, it felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The service was top-notch, with room service, housekeeping, and laundry services available at my convenience. The staff were always friendly and helpful, offering tours and ticket assistance to help me make the most of my stay. The room itself was luxurious and well-equipped, with everything from ironing facilities to a mini-bar. I loved the sitting area and terrace, where I could sit and enjoy the stunning views. The hotel also had a beautiful garden with plenty of garden furniture, perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The amenities provided were excellent, with a wide range of toiletries and even a washing machine for added convenience. The flat-screen TV and dining table were nice touches as well, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay.

The location of the resort is ideal, just a short drive from Port Douglas where you can enjoy fantastic dining options. The resort is situated on top of a hill, providing stunning views of the coast and surrounding nature. The room we stayed in had a spacious bathroom with a large outdoor shower, allowing us to feel close to nature. The hosts were welcoming and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast served on the outdoor verandah was delicious and offered a variety of fresh fruits.

It would have been nice if there was a wider range of facilities available at the resort.

The location of this resort is absolutely stunning. It is nestled on a mountainside, overlooking a beautiful valley and the distant sea. Being so close to nature, I could enjoy the tranquil sounds and aroma of the surrounding eucalypts and palms. Additionally, the resort is conveniently located, just a short drive from Port Douglas, where I could indulge in delicious meals at the superb restaurants.
