My family and I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a peaceful and beautiful countryside location. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the early evening walks to local lookouts, which offered stunning views of volcanic craters. The hosts, Garry and Sharyn, were delightful and provided us with valuable local knowledge. We also appreciated the convenience of self-catering and the option to explore nearby country towns and the Great Ocean Road with our car.

One minor issue we encountered was that the accommodation we booked was advertised as pet friendly, but the place we stayed in was not. Additionally, the heating was not turned on when we arrived, so it took some time to warm up the cottage.

Great scenery and privacy, perfect for my dog to play, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming.

The heating was inadequate for cold nights, and the shower drainage was slow. The unit also could have been cleaner.
