I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect, situated in the center of a picturesque village. The old pub had so much charm and character, creating a truly relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It was a great spot for a stopover in Rutland, offering a quiet corner to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The service was top-notch, with a warm welcome and even a complimentary welcome drink. The hotel provided excellent amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea/coffee facilities in the room. I also loved the sitting area, terrace, and garden furniture, which allowed me to soak up the peaceful ambiance. The dining options were superb, with a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. it was a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.

We had a great stopover in a beautiful old pub in a quiet corner. The location outside in the small garden was absolutely delightful. We loved being able to relax in the terrace and enjoy the garden furniture. The restaurant here was beautiful, and the food was top notch. The staff were fantastic, providing a warm welcome and even offering us a complimentary drink upon arrival. The room itself was very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. We enjoyed having a sitting area and a dining table in the room, which added to the overall comfort of our stay.

The spacious room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The stunning en suite bathroom was a delightful touch. The service provided by the friendly staff was exceptional. The breakfast served in the morning was mouthwatering and satisfying. The location in the pretty village added to the charming atmosphere of the stay.

The bar staff could have been more friendly and attentive.

The room was lovely and cozy with comfortable beds and fresh linens. the location was perfect as it was walking distance to many restaurants and shops. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. We especially enjoyed the homemade pastries.

The hotel's restaurant menu was a bit too fancy for our tastes and overpriced. We ended up finding another restaurant nearby that was more affordable.

Just returned from a lovely stay at a charming old building in a picturesque rural hamlet. the Fox And Hounds exceeded my expectations in every way. From the comfortable 4 poster bed to the impressive bathroom, the room was perfect. I especially enjoyed the country garden, where I could relax and have a drink. the food, sourced locally and cooked by the Greek owner Simon, was excellent. It added an authentic touch to the dishes. the staff were incredibly helpful and the atmosphere at the historic pub was delightful.
