After a busy day exploring, Dale pointed out great local spots near the hotel, right at the base of the stairs. With convenience to city centre sites and Princes Square, he recommended nearby eateries and bars for a tasty bite and drink. Rooms were clean and service was friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere for travelers. Plus, easy parking and proximity to major supermarkets added convenience to the stay.

Some guests were disappointed with the outdated room design and furnishings.

I found this place to be a bit of a mixed bag. the bed was comfier than my childhood teddy bear, but the bathroom setup had me feeling like an Amazonian warrior stooping to wash in a babbling brook. the noises at night made me half-wish for earplugs, but on the upside, it was a handy spot to plot my escape from a zombie apocalypse. a solid choice if you're not fussy and have a decent set of ear defenders handy. I had a great stay at Quality Hotel Colonial! The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. The renovated bathroom was a pleasant surprise, very modern and stylish. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. I especially appreciated the convenience of having access to laundry facilities. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable amenities.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, especially the unexpected upgrade to a king bed. The room was spacious and the bathroom had excellent water pressure and ample hot water. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring Launceston and its attractions.

We loved how it was near a lovely park with a fountain and a seated area where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. The hotel also had a beautiful terrace where we could unwind after a long day of exploring the city.
