This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The value for money was outstanding, especially considering the attention to detail throughout our stay. The location, although a little out of the town center, was actually quite convenient for us as we were touring by car and parking was easily available. Additionally, being near the Stiegl Brewery was a nice bonus, as we were able to enjoy some local beer within walking distance. The service from the staff was exceptional, and the basic amenities provided in our cozy, clean room were more than adequate. We especially loved the glazed balcony, which served as another smaller room where we could sit and enjoy the views. The breakfast, which we could even enjoy outside on the deck, was typical continental but very well done, with a variety of cheese, jams, and breads.

We had a minor issue with our reservation, but the staff at Astoria went above and beyond to rectify the situation. They were apologetic and quickly arranged a better room for us. Their customer service was exceptional.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the city as it was within walking distance to the old town. Additionally, there were buses that stopped right by the hotel, making it easy to reach tourist attractions in Salzburg. Furthermore, the hotel staff were very helpful and even organized pick-ups from the hotel for tours or trips to the mountains.

The hotel did not have air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during the summertime, especially when trying to sleep with the windows open due to noise from the street.

This hotel is located in a nice area on a bus route, next to a supermarket. The staff were friendly and the sleek room had a private toilet and some outdoor seating. The breakfast with great breads and hot made-to-order eggs was good with varieties of food.

Great value for money! the area has a good selection of local stores and restaurants with easy access to the city by bus and foot. Friendly and helpful staff. the best part was the breakfast. It was delicious and a great way to start the day. Plus, they even made eggs to order!

The parking spaces are narrow, so if you have a bigger car, it can be tricky to get in and out. the room we had was a little small and lacked enough space to move around comfortably.

Convenient location for car touring, with easy parking available. Attractive hotel with original art displays, cosy bar, and private garden. Very quiet rooms with comfortable beds, extra pillows, and helpful sightseeing information. Amazing breakfast with a variety of options. Good base for sightseeing. Will book again.

We stayed in a suite as a couple with a teenager for a few nights. The suite provided privacy and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of choices and the staff were friendly. The hotel is located just a 15-minute walk from the old town, with a pleasant route. a great place with comfortable rooms, modern equipment, free parking, and a balcony. A 9/10 for this three-star hotel.
