Upon arrival at the hotel, my room was ready and I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious suite with abundant natural light. The breakfast buffet at the Veranda was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options including made-to-order eggs. The location of the hotel is excellent, with a grocery store conveniently located next door and easy access to public transportation. I particularly enjoyed exploring the charming area of Spittelberg, just a few blocks away. The hotel's proximity to the Volkstheater stop made it convenient to visit popular attractions such as the Schoenbrunn Palace and the Vienna Residence Orchestra concert at Palais Auersperg. The staff at the hotel were polite and professional, with special mention to the friendly and helpful front desk manager who even gave me a small gift after checkout.

Although my stay was overall enjoyable, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The departure taxi was called late, causing unnecessary stress and resulting in me missing my train by just a minute or two.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had, with delicious daily specials and attentive service. The staff were efficient, courteous, and remembered our preferences. The bartender was a genius and prepared perfect cocktails based on our preferences. The service at the reception, bar, and during breakfast was top-notch. The location was excellent, close to the inner city and museums, with easy access to transportation.
