I loved the personal touches at the hotel. The staff made me feel like part of the family and gave me great suggestions for nearby adventures. The location was perfect, close to San Ignacia and the amazing Big Rock Falls and ATM Cave. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was always happy to accommodate my needs.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort tucked away in the beautiful jungle. The owners, Steve and Mike, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The resort's commitment to being eco-friendly by harvesting rainwater and generating their own power was impressive. The spacious and comfortable rooms, along with the restaurant/bar area overlooking the pool and gardens, were perfect for relaxation. The food and drink options were delicious, and the hosts even catered to our picky eaters. We also loved the convenient location for exploring local attractions and day trips. a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

The owners, Jay and Christine, were incredibly friendly and made us feel like part of their family. They gave us great recommendations for local tours and shared interesting information about the wildlife on the property. Waking up to the sound of parrots and relaxing by the pool surrounded by toucans was truly magical. The breakfast was delicious, especially the tropical fruits and homemade banana bread. The dinners were tailored to our preferences and the locally-sourced ingredients made the meals even more special. We can't wait to stay here again and keep in touch with Jay and Christine!

I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. the rooms were clean and beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and plants. The floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to soak in the breathtaking views. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was top-notch. They were attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Lastly, the breakfast was simply excellent. We enjoyed a variety of fresh fruits, cereal, and the most amazing banana bread I've ever tasted. All of this while admiring the stunning view.

The resort had a beautiful location with stunning views of the surrounding area. It was tucked away in the jungle, so it felt secluded and private, which was perfect for our romantic escape. Additionally, the resort offered a free breakfast with delicious fruits and tasty banana bread which we absolutely loved. It was a great way to start our day.

One major drawback was that there was no air conditioning in the room. We were not aware of this prior to our stay, and it made for very uncomfortable nights.

The hosts were helpful and friendly, providing local tour recommendations and sharing information. Breakfast was good, coffee was better, and the view was the best. The surroundings were stunning, with parrots in the morning and toucans by the pool. The dinner menu was catered to our tastes and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Gumbo Limbo for 5 nights and it was absolutely incredible. The owners, Jay and Christine, were amazing hosts and made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is well-maintained, clean, and beautiful, with amazing views and a serene setting. We loved lounging by the pool after a day of exploring. The bar and lounge area were fabulous, and the breakfast was the best we've ever had. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of this hidden gem!
