I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Copacabana for one night and had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff, especially Darley, was extremely helpful and accommodating. They offered early check-in and late check-out, as well as an upgrade to a room with a stunning sea view. The breakfast provided was outstanding, surpassing other hotels in the area. The location was unbeatable, just steps away from Copacabana Beach, with easy access to beach kiosks and nearby restaurants. The hotel itself was stylishly decorated, with amenities such as a bar, pool, and restaurant. The friendly reception staff were always available to answer any questions or provide assistance.

Our stay at Grand Mercure was exceptional. The staff were a dream, assisting us with a late checkout and providing a place for us to change and shower after we checked out. The location, near Copacabana Beach and station 5, was incredible. The breakfast was top-notch and we enjoyed the incredible views from the 18th floor gym. Having direct access to chairs on the beach made us feel great. Our room was large and comfortable, with efficient and quiet A/C. Front desk staff were very accommodating, even upgrading our room for free when we arrived early in the morning. it was a fantastic experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near Copacabana beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean views. Guests can easily walk to the beach and take in all the activities and attractions the area has to offer. Additionally, the hotel is close to restaurants, shops, and other amenities, providing convenience for guests.

It seems that the hotel lacks proper soundproofing in some areas, which can result in noise disturbances. Some guests have reported hearing noises from the elevator shafts or from neighboring rooms, which can be disruptive and affect the overall comfort of the stay.

The hotel's public relations manager, IRIS, was exceptional in addressing any issues and ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast provided was also of high quality. Additionally, the location was great, with a lovely view of Copacabana beach from the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shower was excellent. The bed and room were comfortable, offering a great view of the beach.

The hotel's location across the street from the beach itself was incredible. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to easily go back and forth to the beach. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even upgrading our room when we arrived early in the morning. The rooftop pool provided stunning views and had a bar where we could relax and enjoy a drink. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable.

Best aspects of my Christmas stay were the delicious breakfast buffet and the rooftop with a view over the ocean. The hotel's location cannot be beaten as it's just a stone's throw from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. I also appreciated the complimentary beach towels and the gym equipment.

The tired and dated room with a bad smell and a view of a generator. The room was not cleaned every day, despite our request, and we found the price increase during the holiday season exorbitant.

The luxurious amenities and excellent service surpassed our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the professional and friendly staff. The Spa & wellness centre was a highlight of our stay, providing us with a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. The Indoor swimming pool and Sauna were top-notch, providing us with the perfect escape after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the location was ideal, giving us quick access to the beautiful beach.

The only minor issue we experienced was the lack of poolside snack bar. Despite this slight inconvenience, the hotel staff was quick to provide us with other options, such as the Restaurant and Bar/Lounge area.

The hotel is located right on the beach and close to the night market. It was convenient to have the beach and attractions within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing efficient check-in and assistance with luggage.

The room was noisy, which made it difficult to sleep well. There were also some issues with the room, such as moldy tiles in the shower.
