Despite a few good things, my outrageously noisy and disappointing stay in the city was not worth it. the complimentary champagne and breakfast provided to all the guests made for a good start to the overhyped New Year's celebration. the location was convenient and accessible to the major tourist spots and the popular nightlife areas, which was essential during the busy event.

On the other hand, my room was heckled with a persistent noise from the street and the nightclub across from the building, which lasted to the early hours of the morning. the bed was not comfortable, and two extra-thin sheets were provided along with a doona that offered little warmness during the cold night.
