The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to the underground station for exploring both the business center and tourist areas like Copacabana and Ipanema. The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional, and many spoke fluent English. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. I appreciated the proper lighting and big windows that let in natural light. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to choose from. I had a great stay at Ibis Botafogo.

The effective air conditioning was a big plus, considering the noisy streets outside.

Stayed at this hotel for Easter break and had a good time. Enjoyed the free breakfast and dinner that were offered during my stay. The location was perfect, close to the metro and walking distance to several museums. , there was a supermarket nearby which was convenient.

The room was small and lacked closet space. Had to keep most of my clothes in my suitcase.

The hotel is located in the Botafogo area, which is in South Rio and is a very nice residential area. It's away from the tourist spots, but still easily accessible. The staff at this hotel are fantastic, with many fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Their suggestions were invaluable in navigating the city. The rooms are clean and spacious, with all the essentials and a good desk for working. The shower in the room was excellent.
