Great location, just a couple blocks from the beach and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Spacious rooms with cable TV and a loud air conditioning unit.- It was easy to get a room, never had any problems before.

The soundproofing of the windows is terrible, especially for rooms facing the busy main street. It was hard to sleep at night.

my recent stay in rio de janeiro was amazing, but staying at vermont ipanema exceeded all my expectations. the location was perfect, right near the beautiful ipanema beach and lots of great shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the small bottle of champagne on new year's eve was a lovely touch. i would definitely stay here again!

It's right in the center of Ipanema, making it super convenient to explore the neighborhood. The hotel is situated in a safe and secure area, providing peace of mind for travelers. The service and staff were excellent, attending to all our needs promptly. The rooms were well-appointed, with either a king-size bed or twin beds, and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The breakfast spread had a great variety of options to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

Exceptional Service in a Challenging Situation

During my stay at Vermont Ipanema, an unfortunate incident occurred when my shoulder bag was stolen from the breakfast table. The hotel manager, Susana, went above and beyond to address the situation. She watched the surveillance video, saw the culprit, and personally reimbursed me for everything that was stolen. The hotel even received a call from a nearby cafe that found my belongings and promptly returned them to me. The exceptional response and care from the hotel staff, especially Susana, made a difficult situation much more bearable. Despite this setback, I would still highly recommend Vermont Ipanema for their outstanding service.

The hotel is centrally located, close to many shops and restaurants in a lively neighborhood. It is in a very safe area, making it ideal for older people. The hotel staff are helpful in ordering a taxi to take you to popular tourist attractions like Sugar Loaf mountain.
