During my stay at Villa Paranagua Hotel & Spa, I thoroughly enjoyed the serene relaxation offered by the spa & wellness centre, sauna, and swimming pools. the nearby landmarks like the Modern Art Museum and Catete Palace added cultural richness to our family bonding experiences. the hotel's oasis-like ambiance and attentive staff truly made our time in Rio de Janeiro unforgettable.

The personalized service at this hotel is exceptional, meeting all our luxurious needs. With a beautiful mid-century design, the staff, especially Pablo, Enrique, Dominique and Roger, provide warm. the pool, sauna and spa lounge offer a peaceful and private atmosphere. We enjoyed the infinity pool and the sun terrace with sun loungers surrounded by a garden area. the restaurant served a delicious breakfast and we received excellent local tips from the lovely French owners.

One minor issue was that visitors need to be mindful of taking taxis after dark due to high crime rates, but this is common throughout Rio.

The rooms were very spacious and well-equipped, and we particularly loved the breathtaking view from our window. the breakfast was awesome and diverse, we enjoyed every moment of it. the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, they made sure that all our needs were met. the garden was luxurious and very relaxing, we spent a lot of time there just taking in the ambience.

The hotel is located on a steep and winding road, which might be a little difficult for some guests. However, using an Uber or taxi to go to and from the hotel solved this problem for us.

The beautifully restored mansion, once frequented by Brazilian movie star Tonia Carerro, is located in the heart of Santa Teresa, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The master suite was spacious and luxurious, with stunning views of Guanabara Bay from the balcony. The staff, especially concierges Pablo and Henrique, went above and beyond to make our stay special. The garden and pool were gorgeous, and the food, especially the breakfast, was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Rio.
