I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The breakfast was scrumptious and the staff provided personalized service. The decor was charming, with beautiful linens and cut glass. The hotel facilities were top-notch and it was easy to get downtown using the convenient bus system. The location perfectly captured the late 19th early 20th-century style, with intricate switchplates and vintage wallpapers.

The Amethyst Inn exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially considering the high level of service and attention to detail. Secondly, the location of the hotel was excellent. Situated in a very safe area, we were able to walk to various sightseeing and eating places, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. Lastly, the rooms were delightful. The small fireplace added a lovely ambiance, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The four-poster bed was a luxurious touch, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfasts provided were exceptional, with a variety of different foods to choose from. It was a unique and enjoyable experience, making our mornings even better.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, right beside the castle. The stunning art museum nearby was also a plus. The room we stayed in was enormous, with a huge bathroom and a cozy bed. The service provided by the friendly staff was top-notch, and we felt like royalty during our stay. The breakfast served in the beautiful dining room was simply delightful, and we enjoyed the historic art and architectural details throughout the hotel.

The noise issue from another room was a minor drawback during our stay.

The staff was exceptional, and their presentation, greeting, and interactions with guests were top-notch. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were great. We especially enjoyed the secure parking and the location right beside the castle. The breakfast provided was first class, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from. the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay.

The historic Victorian house had a lot of charm and character. the breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious 3-course meal that included fresh fruit and a homemade scone. the location was great, close to downtown and easy to get around the city.

The building showed signs of deferred maintenance, with some lightbulbs needing replacing and the outside entrance needing a clean up. the bathroom was just adequate, with a narrow shower in a deep-clawed bathtub.

The sweet woman who checked us in even helped carry our bags to the 3rd floor. The breakfast options were delicious, especially the fruit parfait, salmon avocado toast, and the incredibly scrumptious cheese scone. The location was great, close to downtown. The taxes and fees added a significant amount to the overall cost, which was unexpected. the bathroom facilities were not up to standard, with a tub that was difficult to shower in and no proper shower option available.

Had a great xmas vacation staying at this cozy and beautiful inn. the breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. It was great that they offered complimentary wine and cheese at night. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. the fireplace in our room created a warm and cozy atmosphere that we enjoyed.

The instant coffee in the lounge was a bit disappointing and the fruit salad had grapes with seeds. the wooden furniture in our room looked a little worn and could use some refinishing.
