The Scotsman Inn in Pictou was a fantastic place to stay. The beautifully renovated B&B had comfortable rooms and furnishings. Parking was easy, and the garden and back deck provided a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast served in the main dining room was delicious, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. The view from our top-floor room was breathtaking, and the inn's location allowed us to easily explore the area on foot. it was the perfect start to our vacation.

The breakfast and location were decent. the complimentary wine and cheese plate was a nice touch. the area had a good vibe and was close to shops, bars, and restaurants.

The room felt old and dated. the bed was uncomfortable and the linens were scratchy.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to a variety of great restaurants where we could have a delicious meal. the hotel is conveniently located near the waterfront, providing a beautiful view and the opportunity for leisurely walks. the hotel is situated in the city center, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions.

There was one downside to our stay. The lack of an elevator in the historic building made it slightly inconvenient to reach our room on the 4th floor.
