During our stay, we had the pleasure of discovering a couple of great places in the area. The LotW pub, with its stunning location by the water, was the perfect spot to enjoy drinks in the summer. We also found an amazing Chinese food restaurant on the outskirts of town, known for its excellent meals. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed and perfect pillows that made for a great night's sleep.

We did notice that the lighting in our first room was quite dark, which could have been improved upon.

The room at this hotel was spotlessly clean and had a sparkling bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the little outdoor space with a patio table and chairs was a nice treat. The hotel also provided free wifi and decaf coffee, which I enjoyed while working on my laptop. The bathroom had a fantastic tub for relaxing baths with Epsom salt, and the shower had a curved shower rod and a handhold for easy accessibility. The room had ample shelving for toiletries and a huge full-length mirror. I appreciated the microwave, coffee maker with freshly ground coffee, and the big glass bottle of cold water in the mini fridge. The hotel also had a lovely location with trees and a slim view of the lake.

I recently stayed at Timberland Inn for one night during my solo road trip from Burlington, Ontario to Vancouver. The room was clean and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor space with a small patio table and chairs was a nice treat after a long day of driving. The tub was fantastic, perfect for my Epsom salt baths. I also appreciated the curved shower rod and how the shower curtain was tucked into the handhold. The room had ample shelving for toiletries and a microwave. I loved the Broken Paddle freshly ground coffee provided in the coffee maker. The big glass bottle full of cold fresh water in the mini fridge was a nice touch. The parking lot was small but adequate, and the view of the lake from the back parking lot was lovely.

Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time here! This place is located on the peaceful outskirts of the city, which gave us the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. The service and housekeeping were exceptional - the room amenities like the ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and free toiletries made us feel right at home. We loved the sitting area for watching TV and the patio with garden furniture was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. We were impressed with the staff's attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for us.

For families, we highly recommend this hotel - it's affordable and comfortable for everyone.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The suite was spacious, clean, and had everything I could possibly need. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a great TV selection that even allowed me to watch a playoff game. The staff were friendly and efficient, delivering my supper without any issues. The location was also very safe and conveniently located near the onsite restaurant in the Keewatin area, close to Lake of the Woods and the Trans Canada highway.
