We stayed at a peaceful and spacious cottage in a rural location. the pull-out bed was comfortable and secure, and the cooking facilities were comprehensive. Although we didn't use them, there were televisions and plenty of books for rainy days. the toddler enjoyed the donkey, pony, and tyre swing. the hostess, Pauline, was lovely and helpful with directions. We loved walking around the extensive grounds and visiting the sheep, ducks, and goats. Nearby grocery stores and the Lisburn train station made it convenient for self-catering and exploring Belfast and other destinations.

The cottages exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. the self-catering facilities were well-equipped, including pots and pans, and even basic cooking supplies like tea and sugar. the location, although secluded, offered stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. the friendly service provided by the staff made us feel welcome and ensured a pleasant stay. it was a great value for the price and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in the countryside.

Everything was spot on.

the peaceful property and extensive grounds at brookhall cottages exceeded our expectations. we loved strolling around and visiting the sheep, ducks, and goats. pauline was a lovely hostess and her directions were very helpful. lisburn and belfast were easily accessible by train.

Heating could have been warmer.

Stayed at a lovely self-catering property surrounded by beautiful grounds. the owner, Pauline, was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. the accommodation was clean and comfortable, with all appliances in good working order. I particularly enjoyed walking around the property, taking pictures, and even bought a small homemade birdhouse as a souvenir. the location was great, with good proximity to Lisburn, Hillsborough, and Moira, making it an ideal base for exploring the north and east coasts. the presence of friendly animals like Jack the dog, the small pony, and the mule was a bonus, especially for the kids. a wonderful experience.
