The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was very close to everything we wanted to do, like whale watching and exploring the lighthouses and nature trails. We also loved the beautiful views from the hotel and enjoyed spending time in the lawn chairs where we could chat with other guests and take in the fabulous scenery. The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel facilities were clean and well-kept, and we were impressed with the upscale options on the dinner and breakfast menus.

Everything was spot on.

The location was perfect for an Easter getaway. the views were breathtaking and we were able to go hiking and whale watching nearby. the chef's creations were 5-star quality and we enjoyed the fresh, local ingredients. We also appreciated the warmth of the fireplace and the complimentary extra quilt that kept us cozy.

The service was a bit slow and the servers came off as pretentious. the room was basic and could have used some upgrades to match the restaurant's upscale vibe.

Nothing bad to say

The cozy rooms were clean and well-maintained, with an extra quilt provided. The owner went above and beyond by lighting the fireplace in the dining room for us, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The chef, John Howse, prepared a fantastic five-star meal, including perfectly cooked scallops with an amazing sauce and fresh vegetables. He even took the time to chat with us during the meal, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The following morning, he impressed us again with a fantastic breakfast and perfect coffee and tea.

our recent stay in westport was amazing, but brier island lodge took it to a whole new level. the facility was fantastic, with a great restaurant and a beautiful walking trail nearby. the location was perfect for our whale watching tour, and the hospitality exceeded our expectations. it was truly a relaxing experience.

Not recommended for swimming due to strong tides. Sheep add a quaint touch. Morning coffee with friendly sheep and stunning view. Lots of ripe rosehips.
