I had the best fish cakes ever—seriously, I’ve had plenty living in the Maritimes, and these were top-notch! The fresh pasta at the lodge's restaurant was a delightful surprise too. The revamped lodge with ocean balconies made it feel extra special.

shower was broken, so my bathing options were reduced to zero. The decor was a real eye sore, truly mismatched. After all my complaints, I woudl ve been grateful for an upgrade or at least a complimentary bottle of water, but no such luck. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn’t. ,

the lodge has potential with stunning views, but my kingdom for a tv in the room! more importantly, I expected an upgrade due to the broken shower, a complimentarary gift would have been nice, honestly. $19 for basic breakfast is ridiculous when chickens are roaming about—can’t even have a proper cup of coffee without getting charged! almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The lack of air conditioning was a huge letdown, especially considering the price. I found the plugs in our room outdated, making it a hassle to charge devices. To top it off, the headboard in our room fell off the wall during the night—definitely not what I expected for over $300 a night.

What a hidden gem! Lovely clean and spacious rooms, almost all with ocean views. The food at the restaurant was simply divine, made with local goodies, and definitely worth the ferry rides to get there.

Honestly, could someone please fix that light switch? I nearly auditioned for a horror film trying to turn it off without getting electrocuted!

The room had a large picture window overlooking the pristine water, and we loved exploring hiking trails nearby. The nature reserve and seal cove were a fantastic adventure worth the trip.

I visited the lodge for a relaxing getaway and was impressed by the stunning water views from my room. The upgraded room I stayed in had a balcony that made my experience even better. The restaurant offered delicious food, which was a highlight of my stay, although I did notice the prices were a bit high. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would consider coming back again.

The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The steps to the second floor are steep, making access a bit tricky for some guests. Loved the live music during our visit, which added a nice touch to the evening.
