We visited to explore the nearby Parliament Hill and museums. The location was fantastic, being just a short walk from the ByWard Market and the Canadian Museum of History. The buffet breakfast offered was a great value and helped to start our days off right. The staff throughout our stay were consistently welcoming and attentive, contributing to an enjoyable experience overall.

Request a room with a view ahead of time, as not all rooms offer the beautiful sights of Parliament.

The view from my room was truly breathtaking.

Unfortunately, our check-in experience was far from ideal. We encountered a long queue that was compounded by some guests being quite rude to the staff, creating a stressful atmosphere. Additionally, the pool was at capacity, which left my kids disappointed as they were looking forward to swimming on our only night there.

I really enjoyed the high tea at the hotel, the tea and pastries were excellent. The huge windows gave such a wonderful view of the street! Also, they had a little welcome gift pack that was full of nice surprises, it really made my day!

It wasn't cheap but def worth the splurge.

The meal presentation at the hotel's restaurant was incredible, with great detail given to each dish, from the soup to the dessert.

I was disappointed to find that the minibar offerings were sparse, especially considering the hotel's caliber.

Oh, those thin, crispy fries at Wilfred’s were a dream! I couldn’t get enough of them—definitely one of the culinary highlights. Plus, the gorgeous view of Parliament from my room made every moment feel special.

A cheeky critique, the bathroom shower definitely needs an upgrade, and security felt a bit lax with the front door left unattended at night. I noticed kids in the gym without parental supervision, which didn’t sit right with me. Still, the experience was overall charming.

the valet service has in and out privileges but can be slow. some staff were friendly, but issues exist.

Chur, the wifi was dodgy, eh? Couldn’t stream kids' shows. But the historical vibe and views of Parliament were sweet as!

The staff was incredibly helpful, from check-in to dining. I loved the in-room breakfast and the beautiful view while enjoying a drink in the lounge area.

Charming hotel, elegant decor, with a stunning view of the Parliament that adds a romantic touch and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel welcomed and at home.

The only downside was the slow valet service, which took longer than expected to retrieve our car.

It was just a strong match for a getaway in Ottawa with excellent value for money. The welcome drink vouchers were a great touch, and we enjoyed picking out drinks with the help of the staff at the lounge. Check out parking options nearby if the valet is full. it's cheaper and easy to access.
