As a solo traveler, I loved the convenient location and friendly staff at the Empress hotel. The facilities were well-maintained and the upgraded room provided a great view. The breakfast in the room was a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the beautiful harbor scenery.

The service at Fairmont was exceptional, with the concierge going above and beyond to ensure my early check-in. The lounge was comfortable and the food delicious, offering a variety of sweet and savory options. The spa was a great place to relax, with a steam room, sauna, soaking pool, and a relaxation room. The housekeeping staff was attentive, even setting up the sofa bed with a cozy duvet and pillows. I had a wonderful stay at Fairmont.

I had a fantastic lunch on the veranda overlooking the beautiful inner harbor. The menu had a great variety and the food was deliciously prepared. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of downtown and close to all the attractions. The hotel itself is grand and the Victorian-style architecture adds to the charm. I had a wonderful experience at Fairmont.

This hotel has a fantastic location on the harbor of a charming city with plenty of amenities. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, and our room had a gorgeous view of the harbor. The breakfast was delicious, especially the French toast.

Beautiful historic building in a great location with comfortable rooms, including a nice bathroom and cozy seating area. The staff are the true highlight, friendly and welcoming with excellent service. The high tea is a must-try. Pet lovers will appreciate the charming four-legged greeter in the lobby.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and special. The check-in process was easy and efficient, and I was delighted to find out that as a gold guest, I was entitled to some great perks. I enjoyed complimentary appetizers in the evening and a delicious hot breakfast in the morning. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the housekeeping service was quick and efficient. The location couldn't be better - right in the center of everything, with easy access to all the popular sightseeing spots and right across the street from the beautiful harbor.

For the price we paid, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel's architecture and history added to the overall grandeur. The staff treated us with great friendliness and politeness, from the helpful man at the entrance to the friendly person who brought our luggage to our room.

One small thing that could make the morning meal better would be to improve the promptness of the service. There were instances where staff members were not readily available, causing a bit of a wait for things like coffee orders.

We loved staying at this hotel. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the harbor on the front left corner. The location was perfect, as we could easily walk to all the shops, restaurants, and waterfront attractions. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay even better.

The check-in process at the Fairmont was incredibly efficient and fast. We were checked in within minutes and had our room keys in hand. The staff at the Gold reception provided excellent service throughout our stay. The views from the Gold breakfast patio were stunning and made for a delightful morning experience. We also enjoyed the complimentary appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks provided to Gold guests between 5pm-7pm. The housekeeping service was top-notch, with quick and thorough service. Additionally, the bell person and Gold check-in staff were all very helpful and accommodating. our experience at the Fairmont was perfect and we will definitely be returning.

While our room was on the smaller side, it was still comfortable for our stay. The only downside was that our room overlooked the government buildings, where there were protesters, causing some noise and annoyance.

The location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to museums, the Parliament building, and downtown with its many restaurants and attractions. We also enjoyed the high tea experience, which was fun and provided explanations of the tea and pastries. The service was friendly, professional, and prompt.

We found many of the staff to be rude and off-hand, which left a negative impression. Additionally, there were issues with the room, such as a strange configuration in one of the rooms and a malfunctioning television.

Christmas at this hotel was amazing! The festive decorations and atmosphere really added to the holiday spirit. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions and activities in the area. We also loved the delicious Christmas dinner and the cozy fireplace lounge where we could relax and enjoy a hot drink.

It was a little cramped and didn't have much storage space for our belongings. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak and unreliable, which was a bit frustrating.
