I had the best experience at this lakeside inn! From the warm welcome upon arrival to the immaculate cleanliness throughout, everything was top-notch. The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished and the night shades on the windows ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options like fresh sourdough bread, home-made jams, and mouthwatering pancakes. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome and safe, which was especially important as a solo traveler.

Guests also enjoy sitting outside around the fire in the evening.

As foreign tourists, we loved the friendly and helpful hosts. The spacious and clean rooms were perfect for our stay. The highlight was the incredible breakfast cooked by Gabi, featuring mouthwatering blueberry pancakes. We are already planning our next trip back!

The parking situation was a bit tricky, as the lot was narrow and we had to move our car to let others out. However, it wasn't a big issue and the hosts were always there to help.

had a fantastic group visit, exceeded expectations. clean, spacious rooms, delicious homemade breakfast. Gaby and Thom's hospitality was exceptional. will definitely return to wellington.

Superb Hospitality: the hosts were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They even went out of their way to make a campfire for us, which added to the cozy atmosphere. the highlight of our stay was definitely the food. the homemade sourdough bread was mind-blowing, and the breakfast spread was truly world-class. We woke up hungry every morning, excited to try the delicious homemade dishes.

Worst Aspect: the bed was a bit too soft for our liking. However, it might be preferable for taller individuals, so this could be a personal preference issue.
