As women traveling alone, we felt safe and welcomed by the host family. The private section of the holiday home provided a comfortable and spacious bedroom, a large bathroom, and access to a dining area. We loved having a direct door to the outdoor area, which featured a cozy fireplace, deck chairs, and a lovely lake. The hosts offer free use of canoes, life jackets, and other equipment, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Though breakfast wasn't provided, the room had a fridge, kettle, and tableware, allowing us to make our own breakfast. The communication with the hosts was friendly and professional.

Lovely lakeside location and easy access to the city, which was great for our romantic escape. The breakfast was really delicious with well thought-out presentation. We also appreciated the fact that the hosts spoke French and the other guests were also fluent.

One of the worst aspects of our stay was the noise level that disturbed us early in the morning from the room above us. we encountered a staff member who was not very friendly and seemed uninterested in helping us with our needs.
