Excellent location with breathtaking mountain views.

My overall experience at Mountain View Inn was disappointing. The toilet paper provided was incredibly thin, almost like it was single-ply, which made it uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the beds were quite hard, leading to an unpleasant night's sleep. I also found the room to be lacking in basic amenities. the bar soap was small and ineffective, and I would have preferred glass over plastic cups in the bathroom.

this place was beyond dated, really could use updating, and what’s with the bizarre toilet position? I nearly got stuck. I woudl ve been nice to have my hair dryer work instead of being sent under the bed. to make matters worse, no complimentary upgrade, just a cold reception. almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t!

Canmore cuteness 🏔️

Loved the cozy vibe and the super clean room. Chilled in the lobby area with mountain views while I got some work done. Staff were super friendly, really made my stay lekker!

The location was perfect for exploring Canmore and the outdoors. we enjoyed the scenic views while biking down the Legacy Trail with my cousin. Our spacious room had a stunning mountain vista, and everyone loved the cozy lobby vibe with coffee available anytime.

My wife says that clearer directions for parking would help.

It was a balanced option for strolling in Canmore, providing good value for money. I really appreciated the great coffee in the lobby. it made my mornings enjoyable. Make sure to ask for any extra towels or amenities upfront since there's no daily room service.

The room had a small tea table and refrigerator, which was handy. The mattresses were very old and uncomfortable.

Had a good sleep, but man, no daily housekeeping was a bit odd, and the aircon was noisy as! However, the cleanliness was top-notch, so that was sweet as.

It's close to Banff and we hit the Legacy Trail for some awesome hikes. The rooms were clean and cozy. Perfect spot if you just need a base. Grabbed snacks downtown and loved the board game area in the lobby. Definitely check it out!

One issue was the absence of a kettle in the room for hot water. There was one in the lobby, but having one in the room would have been a nice touch.

Super comfy stay with a view!

The front desk staff were super chill and helped me out when my plans changed. My room was massive with a nice kitchenette – I made breakfast instead of going out. The lobby had great coffee and a cozy vibe. Just wished they had more dining options available on-site.

I loved how spacious and clean my room was, especially the bathroom! However, no room cleaning service was a downside. I'd definitely return for the cozy vibe and stunning views!

the mountain view inn is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, and the staff were really accommodating, offering extra blankets quickly when requested. it also has a lovely view of the mountains!

I had a really nice time at this place! The room was clean and warm, and they even had a big fridge that was super handy! Also, there’s a coffee station downstairs where I could get my caffeine fix anytime. The staff were really friendly and gave me good tips for exploring the area! !

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but considering the great service and cleanliness, it was still acceptable.
