We were excited to explore Canadian nature and this location was a great base to do so. The room was average and the bathroom was small. The food in the restaurant was very expensive for what it was, with a $7 salad. We did appreciate the friendly service and free coffee in the morning.

The lodge lacked many basic amenities, like decaf coffee and adequate wifi, which led to frustration during our stay.

As bike riders, we enjoyed the scenic location and rustic charm of the older buildings. The three-story high dining room had a beautiful log cabin design, and the friendly staff served excellent food.

We had an amazing experience at this place. The location was just breathtaking with clear blue-green waters perfect for canoeing. The service was exceptional--staff was courteous and welcoming. The sauna helped us relax after a tiring day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities like an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV.

I was in awe of the breathtaking location of this lodge. The view of the frozen lake was absolutely stunning. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and comfortable room. The toasty temperature kept us warm even in the -20 F weather. The option to fill up our cars with gas onsite was a convenient bonus. The military rate and discount on fuel for staying the night were much appreciated. Despite the limited menu, the food served at the restaurant was delicious, especially the schnitzel.

My family and I recently stayed at the lodge for a weekend getaway. The location is stunning, with a beautiful lake and breathtaking mountain views. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a charming porch. The restaurant served delicious German food with generous portions, and the dining room had lovely views and decor. Additionally, the lodge offers a 20% discount on gas for guests, making it a great deal. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Over Easter, my partner and I had a lovely stay at a hotel located by the tranquil Lake Muncho. We were thrilled to discover that the hotel offered complimentary boat rides, and we spent a few hours cruising the lake, admiring the stunning views all around. the hotel was also located in close proximity to some fantastic hiking trails, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

While we did enjoy our stay overall, we did feel that some aspects of the hotel fell short of our expectations. the food in the hotel restaurant was overpriced, and the service was a bit slow.
