During my Christmas stay, I was pleased with the beautiful architecture and picturesque location of the hotel. the open rooms with cozy sitting areas and fireplaces created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, making my stay enjoyable. the hotel's key location, within walking distance of the downtown area and close to attractions like Kingsbrae Garden, made it convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I found disappointing. the room I stayed in was quite small, which made it feel cramped.

We stayed in a location on the shore, with stunning views of the sea and town. The hotel is situated on a picturesque hill that offers great hiking opportunities. Rooms were comfortable and staffs were friendly. Breakfast was scrumptious with many options.

The hotel keeps dogs in the lobby that bark and run up and down the halls, which can be irritating.

The unique dining facilities were excellent, offering a variety of options beyond the dining room. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the attention to detail when making reservations, asking about allergies and dietary restrictions. The executive kitchen facilities in our room were a great addition, allowing us to prepare our own meals to suit our dietary preferences.

We felt at home during our stay and had no complaints at all.

I got great value for my money, with a beautiful room and a patio attached for enjoying the view. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect.

During my recent stay at The Algonquin Resort, I was impressed by the beautiful building and its rich history. The bar, restaurant, and nice big pool were all great amenities. The highlight of my stay was the indoor pool with the slide, which my kids absolutely loved. Additionally, the staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

I must mention that the rooms were comfortable but on the small side. The lack of insulation made it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms.

Best aspects of my experience during xmas at this hotel were the stylish interior and great chef. the hotel had no less than 5 huge fireplaces, making it cozy and inviting. the location was also a key advantage, with a waterfront view and easy access to the main street for shopping. Additionally, the spa services were wonderful, providing a relaxing experience during my stay.

Worst aspects of my experience during xmas at this hotel were the lack of attentive service from some of the female servers. I asked for a glass of water multiple times but was ignored, forcing me to help myself.

Beautiful resort close to St. Andrews. Unique shops and farmer's market. Friendly staff and excellent food. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Various amenities like pools and golf course. Free laundry facilities. Convenient location with great trails. Fast and reliable wifi.

We recently had a romantic escape and loved our stay! the suite we stayed in was luxurious and comfortable, perfect for a special occasion. the staff at reception, especially Kenneth, were friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. the location was also great, with beautiful surroundings and attractions like Ministers Island and Kingsbrae Gardens nearby. We enjoyed unwinding with a drink in the bar after a day of exploring. the service in the restaurant, provided by Becca and Krystian, was exceptional. Their attention to detail and friendly conversation made us feel like part of the family.

The thin walls made it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep, as we could hear our neighbors loudly. the cleanliness of the room could have been better, with stained sheets and a dirty bathroom.

Fabulous staff, exceptional service, beautiful and luxurious, dog-friendly, excellent amenities, spacious and comfortable room.

Nothing it was perfect.

Our stay at The Algonquin Resort was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and made to feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was the exquisite evening meal at the main dining room. The seafood medley was cooked to perfection, with every element of the dish being absolutely superb. The vegetables and soup were excellent additions, and the Signature cheesecake was a delightful treat. It was truly one of the best meals we have ever had. Additionally, our room was great, and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating.

our stay at the resort was absolutely splendid. the room was luxurious, providing us with a truly comfortable and peaceful sleep. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall excellent experience. the beautiful setting of the resort added to our enjoyment.

Large, comfortable rooms with great amenities including 2 pools, spa, and water tube. Plenty of activities proposed for kids. Prompt and friendly staff, with delicious croissants. Historical significance added to the charm of the property.
